Any Lab Test Now provides customers with the opportunity to take control of their health through direct access to blood tests, paternity tests, drug screens and background checks. We are currently accepting applications for a medical assistant. The right person for this position will enjoy working in both a customer service and medical environment. Enjoy great compensation and a fun work environment. Responsibilities:
* Greet Customers, help them complete paperwork to order appropriate tests
* Collect and process samples for clinical, DNA, and toxicology tests.
* Order tests from laboratories using our system or paper forms.
* Administer vitamin B12 Injections
* Take payment (cash or credit card) and record the transaction in Quickbooks REQUIRED:
* Minimum of two years of recent experience drawing blood
* Ability to communicate clearly.
* Ability to consult with our customers who need help with selection of tests.
* Ability to advise customers on best options with Paternity, Drug, Allergy Tests and B12 shots.
* Knowledge of common blood tests
* Computer skills- usage of MS Word and Email. Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.
* Organizational skills- track inventory, keep records, order supplies
* Dependable and reliable
* Certified Medical Assistant
* Must be able to pass a Background check and Drug Screen
* Enjoy working in a customer service role.DESIRED:
* Experience with Quest or Lab Corp
* Experience doing drug screens desired but not required
*Strong customer service skills & sales experience (or interest in learning)
