Job Description Work as a medical assistant for the dermatologists including assisting with medical dermatology, cosmetic and surgery appointments. Scribe for the providers and answer questions patients may have with guidance from the providers. Work on administrative tasks including following up with patient clinical inquiries. Assist with other duties as assigned. Be a team player! We work as a team, so everyone helps each other out to make every day great! Coordinate the procurement, storage, and distribution of biologics products with Practice Manager Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to biologics Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors with Practice Manager Responsible for preauthorization process of all biologics for all practice providers Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of biologics products Monitor inventory levels and order products as needed Maintain accurate records of all biologics transactions Provide training and support to staff on biologics-related topics Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to biologics Qualifications Experience in biologics coordination (preferred but not required, willing to train) Superior communication skills, oral, and written. Computer literate. Familiarity with Microsoft Office. Experience using an Electronic Health Record (EMR) for scheduling patients and documenting notes. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Must be customer service oriented. Effective organization skills with attention to detail. Ability to multi-task. Presents highly professional image. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to biologics. Job Type: Full-time Must be available to work Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:20am – 6:00pm Experience: Knowledge of biologics (Preferred not required, willing to train)1-2 years of dermatologic setting (Preferred)1-2 years' experience in customer service (Required) Education: High school diploma or equivalent Medical Assisting Certification (Preferred) Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
