Opportunity Life Surge is seeking a highly experienced Media Planner to elevate our traditional media strategies. You'll play a pivotal role in crafting innovative media plans that not only maximize attendance but also establish Life Surge as a thought leader within the industry.
What You'll Do: Lead the development of comprehensive media plans across diverse channels, encompassing terrestrial TV, cable, OTT, OOH, radio, streaming audio, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
Partner with the external media buyer to secure optimal placements and negotiate competitive rates within budget constraints.
Conduct cutting-edge research, analyzing audience behavior, media trends, and competitor strategies to identify the most effective media mix for each event.
Develop and implement advanced media measurement frameworks, utilizing data analytics tools to track campaign performance, optimize strategies in real-time, and maximize ROI.
Stay at the forefront of the ever-evolving media landscape, identifying and implementing cutting-edge strategies to reach target audiences and amplify brand awareness.
Present impactful media plans and insights to senior management, articulating the strategic rationale and anticipated outcomes.
Contribute to the development of industry thought leadership initiatives, positioning Life Surge as a frontrunner in live event marketing.
Who You Are: 10+ years of experience in media planning, with a proven track record of success in the live events industry.
Demonstrated expertise in traditional and digital media landscapes, including in-depth knowledge of advanced buying techniques and programmatic strategies.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to coach, mentor, and inspire junior team members.
Impeccable communication and presentation skills, capable of delivering persuasive arguments and complex information to diverse audiences.
A strategic thinker with a proactive approach, anticipating industry trends and staying ahead of the curve.
A passion for live events and a deep understanding of the unique marketing challenges and opportunities within this space.
