Responsibilities
• Respond to and resolve production, broadcast, and content distribution issues• Analyze and troubleshoot streaming audio/video signals and cloud platforms• Manage third-party service providers and train technical staff• Procure equipment and supplies, develop long-range plans for media technology• Provide operational support and perform system upgrades• Coordinate preventative maintenance and participate in engineering projects• Review and maintain system/workflow documentation• Conduct training and development sessions
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in live media production and distribution environments• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent• Proficiency in microservices, DevOps tools, and scripting (Python, NodeJS, Bash, PowerShell)• Knowledge of SMPTE standards, cloud-based infrastructure platforms, and compression techniques• Experience with Evertz software control systems, media systems, and technical drawing tools• Proven troubleshooting and sustaining knowledge in various broadcast and production technologies• Physical requirements: ability to climb, operate lift platforms, and valid driver's license
