Multi-state design firm is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Kansas City, Missouri!

Responsibilities:

Provide mechanical equipment layout/process piping design for AG/industrial projects
Prepare design documents, specifications, and design calculations
Monitor project-level scope, schedule, budget, and manpower requirements
Implement QA/QC plans
Mentor/train junior staff
Work with client through completion of project
Visit job site as needed
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
6+ years of relevant experience
PE License or ability to obtain in one year
Experience with field/construction administration
Experience with process design, heat/material balances, equipment layout, piping design, piping stress analysis, isometrics, pressure relief valve analysis, process flow diagram, bulk materials handling design, and P&ID development
Proficient in AutoCAD, AutoPLANT or SolidWorks 
Knowledge of FEA modeling software, AutoPIPE and COMPRESS preferred
Knowledge of clean room, hygienic and food safety preferred
