Job summary
Fondomonte California is recruiting skilled Mechanics/Technicians for their Calipatria location near Brawley.The position is for a Maintenance Tech II with 2+ years of experience in heavy diesel equipment and knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.Ability to perform preventative maintenance, keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
• Maintain, inspect, and repair equipment to manufacturer specifications and company standards.• Diagnose and repair electrical or mechanical malfunctions or failures.• Perform routine maintenance checks, adjustments, and fluid/oil changes.• Overhaul equipment as directed.• Assist with system startups and checkouts.• Maintain documentation for existing and new equipment.• Work in a safe and controlled manner, following safety and environmental policies.• Collaborate with Supervisors to maintain production and quality.
Requirements
• 2-3 years of experience on heavy diesel engines.• Ability to repair heavy agricultural, industrial equipment, and vehicles.• Diagnose and rectify low-voltage electrical problems.• Mechanical repair and troubleshooting skills.• Ability to work in a team environment.• High school diploma or GED.• Mechanic certification desired.• Ability to perform installations and fabrications, welding experience is a big plus.• Hydraulic diagnostic and repair skills.• Knowledge of AC/DC electrical current.
