Mechanic

The Town of Bourne, an affirmative action, equal opportunity employer, has an opening for a full-time Mechanic at the Department of Public Works. We are seeking qualified applicants to diagnose technical and mechanical problems with town vehicles and equipment, make appropriate repairs, and perform routine service inspections.
Qualifications and Education Associate Degree or equivalent, with advanced training in mechanical repairs; and at least five (5) years of experience in heavy equipment mechanical repairs; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a current CDL Class A or B, and hoisting engineering license.
Full/Part Time & Hours This is a full time 37 hours per week, benefited position.
Salary Starting at $27.92/hour
Salary Notes This is a benefitted position with dental, health, PTO and retirement.
