Responsibilities
• Coordinate all aspects of patient meal service• Assist patients in placing meal orders• Assemble meals in the kitchen• Deliver meals to patients and pick up dirty trays• Provide direct care to patients during meal service• Maintain inventory and order products for nourishment room• Follow established protocols and adhere to HIPPA guidelines• Support patient and family centered care• Maintain ethics, professionalism, and compliance• Promote service excellence and fulfill hospitality responsibilities
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent• One year of food service experience• Customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively in English• Ability to learn new computer applications and stay updated on technology• Math skills for patient food intakes• Critical thinking skills for service recovery• Food Handler's Card• Compliance with Code of Conduct and applicable policies• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation• Hospitality experience in a fast-paced hospital food service environment• Experience communicating with patients and healthcare professionals• Vocational training in a health care support area• CNA2 certification• ServSafe certified
