Orem Mazda is seeking an Express Service Lube Technician. As a Lube Technician, you will be vital in ensuring our service department's smooth and efficient operation by performing routine maintenance services on customer vehicles. While prior experience as a Lube Technician is preferred, we are willing to provide training to candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a passion for the automotive industry.
Responsibilities: Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance tasks on customer vehicles according to established procedures. Inspect fluid levels, filters, belts, and hoses, and identify any potential issues or areas of concern. Complete vehicle inspections and record findings accurately for service records. Keep work area clean and organized, properly disposing of waste materials and used automotive fluids. Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure timely and efficient completion of service jobs. Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and educational programs provided by the dealership. Requirements: Previous experience as a Lube Technician is preferred but not required. We are willing to train candidates intensely interested in the automotive industry. Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures. Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
