Materials Manager

One of my best clients is searching for an experienced Materials Manager. They are a 50 year, family-run, stable, recession durable company. They specialize in designing, engineering, and manufacturing durable machined solutions for various industrial applications. Decisions are made quickly, lunches are brought in periodically, KPI success is celebrated, and everyone will know you by name.
The Materials Manager will have competence in purchasing, inventory control and data analysis. Responsibilities:
Develop existing and new suppliers. Customer demand analysis to guide sales and stock plans. Inventory optimization. Guide engineer's cost reduction efforts. Minimize scrap or obsolete stock.
Desired competencies for the Materials Manager : APICS, CPIM, CSCP
Requirements for the Materials Manager :
