THE OPPORTUNITY
Michelin has an immediate opening for a Materials Data Analyst who will help us build our digital strategy to capitalize on the Industrial data that is available in our factories. WHAT WILL YOU DO
Lead the effort to define the future data needs for efficient operational management and strategic decision making in partnership with our Industrial sites. Drive the effort to improve and transform the current data/reporting and determine the new required metrics. Partner with key resources to determine how the data will be used for managing operations and for steering the business. Collaborate to model the data to meet the business needs in a way that is cost and time efficient. Ensure the quality, accuracy, consistency, and usability of the data in accordance with the data governance policies. WHAT WILL YOU BRING
Proven experience in Data Analysis and Visual Tool creation Ability to communicate effectively and gain consensus in a professional manner with external partners, colleagues. 3-5 years' experience in working in an Industrial fabrication environment (Materials Domain is a plus). Demonstrated experience in leading a team or project group by setting clear goals, delegating tasks effectively, providing regular feedback/coaching, leading by example, and fostering a positive work environment. Effective analytical skills to objectively examine data, recognize patterns, and make connections between seemingly unrelated ideas or concepts. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Power BI and other Power Suite tools is a plus. Strong proficiency in at least 1 data query language (Python, R, SQL, etc.) Inspire Motion for Life: Apply Today!
