Procurement Functions: Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of quality direct and indirect materials according to demand and other requirements Implement strategies to optimize procurement processes and minimize supply chain risks Contract creation, negotiation, and management Supplier selection and management New Product Development support Other activities as needed Incoming Materials Functions: Confirmation and system receipt of materials after delivery Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues Quality inspection of materials according to documented Quality guidelines Work closely with Supplier Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other departments Other activities as needed Stocking Functions: Storage and management of all materials, including direct and indirect materials Implement industry best practices for inventory management Chemical and floor stock management and ordering Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements in stock room activities Management of site die bank, processing of die Ensure that stated inventory levels are accurate through transactional accuracy, verified by cycle counting Other activities as needed Outgoing Materials Functions: Kitting of work orders Kanban replenishment and management RMA management to suppliers (Return Material Authorization) Other activities as needed Continuous Improvement: Create and maintain a Continuous Improvement mindset in the Material Operations Team. Identify and maintain a roadmap of process improvements that will result in cost savings, better efficiency, increased technological capability, scalability, and industry best practices. Support site-wide projects such as 6S, PFMEA, and other improvement activities. Create opportunities for the team to cross-train in other functions to improve overall robustness of the team. Other activities as needed Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the Material Operations Team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, performance evaluations, coaching, and professional development initiatives for team members. Drive a high-performance mindset and a customer-focused approach within the materials team. Other activities as needed Your Profile You are best equipped for this task if you have:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience, in related field preferred. (MBA or relevant certification is a plus) In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, procurement strategies, Quality standards, and inventory management best practices CSCP Certification strongly preferred Proven experience in materials management, procurement, and inventory control activities Proficiency in utilizing ERP systems (SAP experience strongly preferred), inventory management software, and Microsoft Office suite
