Material Handler Receiver

Material Handler/ Receiver Pay: $1820/hr.
Hours: MondayThursday 5AM3:30PM(Friday/Saturday are overtime)

Job Description: In this role you will be responsible for the efficient movement loading unloading and handling of all inbound and inhouseworkinprogress (WIP) materials. Your primary objective will be to ensure the smooth flow of product materials from reception to staging for WIP departments ultimately enhancing manufacturing throughput and efficiency. Additionally you will play a crucial role in outbound shipments when required. Duties include unloading inbound trucks meticulously verifying received quantities against purchase orders for accuracy and comparing receivers with POs or invoices to ensure precision. You will be tasked with identifying and reporting any nonconforming goods promptly as well as verifying and delivering Material Test Reports to the Quality Assurance department for approval. Moreover your responsibilities will encompass the identification marking movement and staging of all production materials demonstrating proficiency in controlling product identification marks and liaising effectively with suppliers based on knowledge of purchase orders. Operating forklifts cranes and other material handling equipment will be part of your daily routine all while maintaining impeccable housekeeping standards in receiving areas. Your ability to accomplish tasks swiftly safely and accurately will be paramount alongside your reliability punctuality and positive attitude towards teamwork and cooperation.
Qualifications: Ideal candidates should demonstrate the ability to lift consistently and work independently. Preferred qualifications include prior experience in material handling packing and shipping/receiving. While a suitable level of experience for the role is necessary possessing a high school diploma or equivalent is desirable. Familiarity with ISO 9000 standards and proficiency in shop practices are advantageous.
