Responsibilities
• Loading/unloading metal parts for daily fabrication at the paint line• Completing daily activities to meet production goals• Assisting in identifying parts and part descriptions• Maintaining highest quality standards - zero defects• Promoting and maintaining a safe work environment• Completing training in manufacturing practices, quality practices, and safety procedures• Communicating job status between shifts• Adapting to changing business requirements• Establishing continuous improvement processes• Reducing costs and improving quality
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED• Minimum of 12 months experience• Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes• Strong and effective communication skills• Organizational and time management skills• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment• Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Ability to follow instructions and exercise good judgment• Ability to troubleshoot operating errors• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently• Good teamwork and communication skills• Ability to work with minimal supervision• Ability to work with machine operators, mechanics, contractors, drivers, and vendors• Physical abilities to reach, sit, stoop, kneel, lift up to 50 pounds• Occasional extended hours and positive attitude required
