Job Description The Material Handler is responsible for moving our finished goods and raw materials both inside and outside the plant. This person will be expected to operate both sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks to move items to their staging areas and other appropriate locations. This position would either be our Day shift (M-F 6am to 2pm) or our Pitman night shift (6pm to 6am rotating shifts)
Qualifications Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Unload, move, and store materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other handling equipment following proper safety procedures.
Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper labeling.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with other departments to fulfill internal material requests in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and housekeeping standards.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Skills
Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
Ability to operate in a quick, safe and efficient manner with little supervision.
