Liberty Sheds is looking to hire a full-time employee to assist in unloading materials, keeping a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory, identifying the right products needed for builds, verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries, and help maintain a clean and safe manufacturing environment. Liberty Sheds (formerly Liberty Storage Solutions) was founded in 2006 on a small 2 acre parcel with a vision to provide quality products and outstanding customer service at a competitive price. We currently have two manufacturing plants with over 20 dealer lots across North Carolina. We just recently opened a new office space and are building a larger manufacturing plant right here in Mocksville, NC.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Conduct regular maintenance on equipment Organize scraps and stock metal Keep a well-maintained account of inventory Unload and verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries Ensure OSHA rules and regulations are followed properly SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Physically fit with the ability to lift between 50 - 100 pounds unassisted Excellent time management and organizational skills Obtain forklift certification Written and verbal communication Must be able to stand for long extended periods and occasionally be required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Be comfortable performing tasks on a ladder up to 6 ft off the ground Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills Basic math knowledge or power and handheld tools and other warehouse equipment Forklift experience preferred but not required EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or equivalent (required)2 years of previous experience as a material handler (preferred) BENEFITS

Work will take place primarily inside a non-climate controlled environment. Occasionally, employees will be expected to work outside in all types of weather. Employees can expect to experience high levels of noise that is typically associated with a busy manufacturing environment. The employee must be able to tolerate an environment with paint/stain fumes and sawdust.
