I. General Duties:
Duties general include but are not limited to the following:
• Performs Pre/Post trip vehicle inspections per federal Department of Transportation regulations.
• Loads, unloads and drives heavy duty supply trucks including vans and tractor-trailers used in the transportation of all types of equipment throughout the state.
• Operates Dock Plates Hydraulic Tailgates, heavy duty Forklift Trucks, Cranes, and other motorized equipment.
• Assists garage forces in changing flat tires, services supply vehicles by adding fuel and oil.
• Prepares logs indicating arrival time at garages, conditions found, etc.
• Responsible for security of trucks and contents as well as building locations where deliveries are made.
• Acts as lead person, takes responsibility for proper execution of the work assignment when working with others.
• Works on loading docks, moving heavy cable reels weighting up to 7,000 pounds, by pushing or pulling, loads/unloads incoming and outgoing freight.
• Sorts and delivers mail.
• Operates a handheld computer.
• Lifts loads weighing up to 100 pounds.
II. Basic Qualifications:
Past Experience:
• Supply Driver A (#3541)
• None

OR
• Two years of documented tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Attach work history.
• Must have and supply copy CDL-A License.

Physical Requirements:
• Further medical screening may be required.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Able to wear Steel Toe Shoes or Boots.
Performance/Attendance: (Applicable to all transfers):
• Satisfactory performance rating in present job.
• Satisfactory attendance record in present job.
Specifics:
• Company driving certificate required, Includes Van Driving.
• Must possess and maintain a Commercial Driver's License, CDL- "A" with endorsements as
required to drive vehicles with a gross weight of 26,001 lbs. or more.
• Subject to Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Testing Program as mandated by law.
• Must be able to work a day or evening tour, overtime, emergency callouts, weekends and holidays
as required.
• Must satisfactory completed Tractor-Trailer road test, Medical Drug and Alcohol testing as
required by federal Department of Transportation standards and maintain medical certificates.
• Overtime-occasional.

2. Schooling/Training:
• Tractor-Trailer training acquired from an accredited, post-secondary school or through U.S.
Military service.

• Candidates must submit the required documentation with Transfer Request.
IV. Training:
• On-the-job instruction involving loading and unloading techniques unique to Frontier, as required.
• Must complete self-paced workbook (open book) on Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
(Completed on the-job).V. Environment:
• Exposed to all types of weather and road conditions while working or driving outdoors.
• Wears hard hat and safety glasses as required.
