Job Title: Master Diesel Mechanic - Heavy Equipment Location: Utah
Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Diesel Mechanic with expertise in Heavy Equipment to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of heavy machinery. This is an on-location position, and there is no requirement for traveling from site to site.
Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair various heavy equipment, including but not limited to bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and other construction machinery. Conduct routine maintenance procedures to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment. Troubleshoot and identify issues with engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and resolve mechanical problems. Collaborate with other team members to coordinate workflow and ensure timely completion of repairs. Maintain detailed records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities. Qualifications: Master-level certification in Diesel Mechanics. Extensive experience working with heavy equipment in a workshop setting. Proficient in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems. Strong understanding of electrical systems in heavy machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Safety-conscious with a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Master Diesel Mechanic. Valid driver's license. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment parts. Flexibility to work occasional weekends or overtime as needed.
