Who We are: Wiers is a fast-growing company that operates International Truck Dealerships and Fleet Partners Service Centers in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Colorado, Texas, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
Established in 1964, Wiers maintains and repairs class 3-8 vehicles including commercial vans, super-duty trucks, straight trucks, tractors, and trailers. Wiers Service Centers are operated by experienced professional managers who bring exceptional capabilities to a friendly and family-oriented environment. We make TRUCKS ROLL! Fitness membership reimbursement Safety boots and glasses reimbursement Company paid uniforms provided. $35-$40 Hourly M-F 6:30am -6:30pm Seven paid holidays Variable compensation opportunities Up to a $5000 sign on BONUS Responsibilities and Skills: Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electronic problems Diagnostics abilities specifically Cummins engines, Detroit engines, Paccar engines, Volvo Mack engines and all makes and models. Performs guidance on triage to determine the best solutions to assist customers. Perform general and detailed repair and installations of all trucks, engines, and components. Provide mentorship, instruction, and advise to other technicians. Required to operate diagnostic test equipment proficiently. Must Haves: A CAN -DO attitude - You'll figure it out. High level of professionalism and integrity - You are reliable. Qualification: Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
High School Diploma or equivalent Valid Driver's License (CDL Preferred) At least 4 years' experience as a technician working on heavy duty Class 8 trucks.
