Experience developing an enterprise-level data governance strategy or associated documents (including but not limited to organization-wide gap analyses, roadmaps, transition plans, executive summaries, and maturity models).
Experience with developing an existing enterprise data governance program to higher levels of organizational maturity, including through the development of program processes, training materials, technical consultation, and industry subject-matter expertise.
Demonstrated ability to integrate diverse organizational interests, such as business programs,
technical/operational units, compliance specialists, enterprise policymakers, and related stakeholders, to produce data governance artifacts, services, and results.
Demonstrated ability to provide subject-matter expertise in the domain of data management (working knowledge of the Data Management Body of Knowledge [DMBOK] is required).
Demonstrated ability to provide subject-matter expertise in the domain of data quality and standards.
Experience in interpreting,
analyzing, and applying data standards to health care data and technology systems across an enterprise. Experience gathering, documenting, designing, and applying data requirements and data standards. Desired Qualifications Contractor Staff Skills
Two to five additional years of experience in each of the required skills and qualifications.
Experience as the primary enterprise data contractor for other state and federal government agencies.
Data governance experience in the government sector within the last 3 years.
Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) accreditation from the Data Management
Association (DAMA), current and in good standing. Participation in industry- recognized data management organizations, committees, communities of practice, or similar groups.
Participation in the development of national health data standards, such as through membership in a standards
development organization or
participation in an industry- recognized health data initiative. Demonstrated experience in the proper application of, and
compliance with, state and federal privacy and data security law, including at least HIPAA, HITECH, and comparable state and program-
