Responsibilities
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers on sourcing projects• Improve financial and operational performance through strategic supplier performance initiatives• Build trusted relationships with senior internal leaders• Plan sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives• Seek value/savings and efficiency opportunities across category spend• Lead RFx activity to find the best sourcing solutions• Negotiate commercial agreements and mitigate risks• Report progress and input information into procurement systems• Drive continuous improvement initiatives• Apply supplier relationship management techniques
Requirements
• Exposure to Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Program Management• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence• Sound understanding of procurement practices and contract specifications• Knowledge of purchasing systems and order management software• Familiarity with BI reporting and spend analysis• Self-motivated and adaptable• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; MBA or JD preferred• Strategic Sourcing/Procurement-related industry certification(s) preferred• Familiarity with fiscal planning cycles and financial analysis
