SUMMARY:
The GV NextEd Co-Lab is seeking a Marketing Operations Specialist to coordinate and manage all marketing for the NextEd Co-Lab. Reporting to the Director of K-12 Connect, the Marketing Operations Specialist will develop campaigns and strategies to engage with current and future stakeholders and ensure that Co-Lab initiatives align with the department's identity and values.
As a key member of the GV NextEd Co-Lab team, the Marketing Operations Specialist will be a major contributor to ongoing program growth, reach, improvement, and impact. This is a new role, so the selected candidate will have the opportunity to shape the position and the structure of marketing operations.
The ideal candidate has a passion for the Co-Lab programming missions and is hardworking, highly motivated, adaptable, creative, personable, project-oriented, and resourceful. A background in marketing and project management is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all program marketing campaigns, communications, and promotional content Lead program employee and client recruitmentEstablish relationships and develop trust with internal and external stakeholdersCross organization and executive communication of problems, opportunities, and value (visual, written, and storytelling) to rigorously engage and partner.Contribute to departmental growth by performing research, providing recommendations, implementing plans as appropriate, and supporting new funding initiatives. Become an expert in industry/competitors through research and understanding trendsCreate content for media channels in line with brand values and growth strategies Coordinate staff, student employee, and client recognition and giftsCoordinate program events with a team and manage event marketing communicationsServe as department liaison for marketing, event, and purchase mattersPerforms other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's DegreeMinimum one year marketing experience requiredStrong knowledge and experience working in all aspects of Google Drive required Experience working within Canva requiredExperience working with Emma requiredExperience with CMS requiredExperience with Squarespace preferredExperience with tutoring platforms preferredUnderstanding of procurement services and managing department purchases preferredExperience in human resources preferredExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsExperience with and knowledge of various marketing tools and best practicesDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning and task delegationPassion for transforming education and high attention to detailsExcellent team working skillsStrong written communication skills, including the ability to summarize, synthesize and story tell Proven problem solving, adaptability, creativity, self-management, and organizational skills.WORKING CONDITIONS:
