We have 7 warehouse locations across the Midwest and employee 85+ team members in our trade area.The Legend Seeds Marketing Internship offers an immersive experience in the seed and agricultural industry. This role not only provides Legend Seeds with crucial support during the summer's peak months but also enables the intern to apply academic knowledge in a practical setting. The intern will aid the Legend Seeds Marketing team and dealer network by developing content, writing articles, gathering customer testimonials, and offering event support. Additionally, the intern will play a key role in publicizing Legend Seeds through various social media channels and other communication forms.Job DescriptionTypes of Activities:Engage with growers, dealers, and prospects at events and in the field, representing the Legend Seeds brand positively and professionally.Promote Legend Seeds events and brand across digital channels, including social media platforms and blogs.Contribute to press releases, articles, ad copy, and other communications.Support the marketing team with tasks such as print mailings and e-mail communications.Generate creative ideas to enhance the Legend Seeds brand visibility.Assist in designing marketing materials and provide event support for farm shows and dealer meetings.Promote Legend Seeds events and brand through mailings, advertising, and social media.Support event planning and execution, including farm shows, knowledge plots, and staff/dealer kickoffs.Assist account managers and dealers with marketing requests.Support various projects and tasks as necessary.Compile a summary or presentation of the internship experience.Additional Responsibilities:Content Creation: Assist in developing marketing materials such as blog posts, social media content, newsletters, and press releases.Graphic Design: Support the design of promotional materials, including flyers, brochures, and digital ads, using software like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.Photography and Videography: Help capture and edit photos and videos for marketing campaigns or social media use.Campaign Development: Contribute ideas and research to help plan and execute marketing campaigns.QualificationsPursuing or holding a degree in journalism, marketing, communications, graphic design, public relations, or related field.Interest in and experience with agriculture preferred.Exceptional writing abilities.Proficient in technology, especially apps and social media.Knowledgeable in graphic design principles and software, especially Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.Additional InformationWill you fit in here?If you personally identify with our five core values, then we believe you will be an excellent fit for the culture at Legend Seeds:? This is largely a sedentary role; however, some standing, and lifting is required.
