Position: Marketing Communication Specialist
Remote residing in DE, FL or MD with periodic travel as needed

What you'll be working on...
Assists with developing and maintaining project tracking spreadsheets in order to prioritize project deliverables and other requests. Ensures timely delivery of requests, coordinating with SMEs and other team members on design and implementation.
Provides guidance and addresses challenges on work/project management and collaboration for the department managers with direction from the Supervisor, Creative Services and the Director, Marketing.
Completes daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities.
Assists department managers in the coordination of marketing events, traditional or digital marketing campaigns, social media advertising, communications bulletins or any other marketing/communications related needs.
Coordinates requests for and delivery of promotional items for all marketing and sales department needs, making sure deadlines and quality requirements are met. Also responsible for managing inventory and fulfillment.
Maintains channels of internal communication, including marketing and event calendars, to keep company employees informed of marketing/advertising efforts.
Works with ad agencies, vendors and other third-party agencies on deliverables, ensuring that advertisements/copy/web banners, etc. are delivered to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
Processes vendor invoices and new vendor applications in a timely manner. Prepares monthly accrual of invoices and stays informed of changes to invoicing procedures.
Prepares agendas, meeting notes, presentations and other correspondence as needed
Performs other duties as assigned by Manager, Creative Services
Who you are:
Self-motivated, detail oriented and demonstrates initiative to regularly set and achieve work goals.
Ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks and to delegate tasks when appropriate.
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Proficiency with Adobe creative suite, including Photoshop and InDesign, or similar design software.
Ability to work collaboratively, motivate others and lead a team or committee.
Possess great communication skills, both verbal and written.
Bachelor's degree or minimum of three years of experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field.
Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce and HubSpot is preferred.
1-3 years related experience.
Where you'll be working:
Remote working environment, Must be able to drive as required, to attend after hour events and travel as necessary. Available for in-person training 2 days a week during training period.
