Job summary
University Housing & Dining Services is seeking two Marketing & Communications Managers.These are full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty positions.The Marketing and Communications Manager is part of an internal creative services team that promotes University Housing & Dining Services at Oregon State University.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Create, implement, and track targeted marketing plans for new and existing university-wide programs• Facilitate project success from scope determination to completion• Collaborate with various unit partners to execute branding in UHDS buildings• Promote menus and specials with the dining team• Market programs with the residential education unit• Communicate assignments processes with the operations unit• Support new business development• Manage multiple competing creative projects with different components• Build and maintain collaborative working partnerships with stakeholders• Support diversity initiatives
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in business/marketing, journalism, public relations, new media communications, graphic design or a relevant field• At least three years of professional experience in developing and managing marketing strategies• Experience in graphic design, copywriting, web development, video, and photography• Demonstrated commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Experience with online marketing and social media platforms• Ability to build and maintain collaborative working partnerships• Successful completion of a criminal history check
