Marketing Development Manager - Spirits On-Premise
Gallo is on the lookout for a dynamic On-Premise Sales Representative who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a genuine passion for the spirit industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who excel in sales, have an entrepreneurial mindset, and are ready to champion our brands in bars, restaurants, and clubs within an assigned territory.
In this role, you will be the face of Gallo, executing our refined sales and marketing strategies to not only meet but exceed sales targets. Your mission will be to enhance the visibility and distribution of our brands, ensuring they become the top choice in on-premise accounts. You'll work closely with distributor personnel, using your strategic planning skills to identify and leverage sales opportunities, and build meaningful relationships with account holders.
Your days will be varied and engaging, focusing on negotiating placements, conducting spirit tastings to showcase our premium products, and training account staff to become spirited ambassadors of our brands. You'll be instrumental in developing and executing promotional events and marketing initiatives that resonate with our on-premise clientele, driving both brand loyalty and sales.
As a key player in our team, your ability to pivot strategies based on market conditions, inspire and motivate those around you, and make strategic decisions will be crucial. You'll be expected to not only understand but thrive in the competitive landscape of on-premise sales, using your insights to drive innovation and growth for Gallo.

What You Will Need:
•  High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
•  Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of Gallo winery or distributor sales reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of CPG sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of Gallo winery or distributor sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
•  Candidates for this position must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Required to obtain a California driver's license or appropriate state driver's license within 30 days of hire.
•  Required to obtain liquor license as required by state/locality.
•  Required to travel by air and car up to 40% of the time in order to execute job functions.
•  Required to see, taste, and smell wine and perform wine tastings as part of job functions.
•  Required to be 21 years of age or older.
•  Experience demonstrating strong leadership selling, time management, public speaking skills.
•  Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
•  Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
Compensation:
•  Hiring Salary Range Posted: $80,190.00 - $133,700.00 / year
•  Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
