Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Position Overview:
We are looking for a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining quality assurance standards and methods for our manufacturing processes. This role will also ensure that the products comply with IATF 16949 and other applicable quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and systems Conduct process audits and inspections Analyze defective materials or questionable conditions Monitor and report on quality issues Develop and monitor performance metrics for quality assurance Develop and implement quality plans, including APQP, FMEAs, and control plans Provide technical expertise to identify root causes for quality issues Work with suppliers to ensure quality of products and services Provide guidance and support to production and engineering staff Develop and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) documents Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality systems Strong understanding of IATF 16949 and other applicable quality standards Proven experience with APQP, PPAP, and FMEA Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work effectively under pressure Strong attention to detail Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
