We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of projects by coordinating tasks, communicating with various stakeholders, and providing administrative support to the project management team.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand product specifications, Prime Machine capabilities, and project schedules to effectively coordinate project tasks using available resources.
Assist Project Managers with administrative tasks related to assigned projects, including organizing project details, and acting as a liaison between project stakeholders.
Create models in SolidWorks and generate manufacturing drawings as required.
Become proficient in the ERP system (currently GSS) to manage project data and tasks efficiently.
Collaborate with Project Managers to monitor project status, support craftsmen, and update project schedules.
Handle administrative tasks such as ordering equipment and supplies, managing deadlines, scheduling meetings, and maintaining project documentation.
Generate inspection reports for projects and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
Attend project meetings and interface with customers to support Project Managers.
Conduct regular shop floor walks to monitor project progress and update ERP records for schedule accuracy.
Work closely with Area Managers and craftsmen to keep projects on track and address any issues that may arise.
Assist in the disposition of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and serve on the Material Review Board (MRB) when necessary.
Provide weekly progress reports to Project Managers and attend production meetings to discuss project updates.
Define the need for weekend work and overtime, and coordinate emergency work as required.
Review completed projects and inspection reports to ensure compliance with specifications.
Capture and store photos of project parts weekly and maintain organized records.
Coordinate with the Purchasing Department regarding material purchases, shipping, and receiving, and provide updates to Project Managers.
Work weekends as assigned, handling customer calls and emergency requests.
Qualifications:
SolidWorks experience required. Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably GSS.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and inspection methods.
Previous experience in project coordination or related roles preferred.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
