WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Lead and oversee all aspects of plant operations, ensuring a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities encompass production, maintenance, engineering, quality control, and other associated functions. Cultivate a positive and engaging work environment that attracts and retains top talent. Implement lean manufacturing principles, visual controls, and key performance indicators to optimize production and identify areas for improvement. Additional Responsibilities Work with Engineering, Maintenance and Quality organization to assure project work is effective and meeting expectations to assure KPI's are meeting desired targets
IDEAL CANDIDATE: A dynamic and seasoned leader with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Material Science, Operations Management, or Business 8-10 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the metals sector, and a stable employment history. Possess a strong background in lean manufacturing / Six Sigma techniques and have a proven track record of driving operational excellence and
competitive positioning through continuous improvement. Excels at developing and executing manufacturing plans that enhance profitability while minimizing costs. Experience overseeing production- related processes, policies, and procedures and are skilled at collaborating with department heads to ensure seamless
purchasing, production, quality, and distribution processes. Their efforts aim for significant year-over-year improvements in revenue, ROS, yield, and productivity.
