Responsibilities
• Prepare and execute Commercial Grade Dedication Plans• Coordinate with key stakeholders to define critical characteristics and acceptance criteria• Coordinate closely with external suppliers for testing, inspections, qualification, etc.• Engage in supplier Commercial Grade Dedication surveys• Create design models and detailed drawings• Provide engineering support for assembly, testing, and inspection• Assist in the development and qualification of advanced manufacturing technologies• Prepare test reports and qualification reports• Support engineering procurement efforts and control of components• Inspect and characterize components• Communicate task/project status to stakeholders• Provide other engineering and manufacturing support tasks as required
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required• Must have at least 2 years of related experience• Experience in Commercial Grade Dedication Plans• Proficiency in Solidworks 3D CAD• Knowledge of Engineered Systems & Systems Design is a plus• Ability to work in a team environment and solve complex problems• Clear, concise, accurate, and timely communication skills• Ability to develop effective relationships with customers and suppliers• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products• Must be a U.S. citizen• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
