Job Summary They are seeking a second shift Manufacturing Manager/ CNC Lead who will oversee a team of CNC machinists and assist with programming and setup issues, report to Shop Foreman and Operations Manager. Ensuring adequate levels of staffing for all departments; screening and hiring new employees as needed. Client is looking for someone to start ASAP
Job Description Lead and manage the second shift consisting of a team of machinists, QC personnel and shop personnel. Report to Shop Foreman and Operations Manager Ensuring adequate levels of staffing for all departments; screening and hiring new employees as needed. Will enforce company policies and take disciplinary action when necessary. Coordinate daily production schedule with Operations Manager to ensure timely delivery to customers. Work with machinists assisting with complex setups and tooling selections. Optimize programming and tooling on machines to reduce cycle times and increase output. Review routers and work orders to ensure accuracy . Manage quality by enforcing the quality management system on the production floor. Hold employees accountable and reduce scrap/rework rate; Coach and mentor team addressing the needs and concerns of employees. Ensuring team had the tools and facilities required to perform jobs effectively. Collaborate with sales on quotes customers, estimating cycle times and tooling usage. Will maintain safety standards and HSE program to ensure the facility and procedures follow all regulatory requirement Skills Required Minimum 10 years of experience working in CNC manufacturing environment. Preferably 5 years of experience in a lead/supervisory role within a manufacturing setting. Must have Mazak experience (but prefers 5 years) Must have hands-on programming experience. Must have 5 years Mazak Experience Knowledge of Mazatrol Experience with Esprit programming software is a plus Education/Training/Certification High School Diploma or equivalent diploma. Additional Requirements Will be required to work 45 – 50 per week Schedule Shift Hours: 2 nd Shift, Monday - Friday 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM ]
Pay Rate/Salary $100,000 – $120,000 annually depending on experience. Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skill set and/or location. EEO/AA/M/F/Vet/Disability Employer
