Kelly Engineering is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our team in Bothell, WA. Principle Responsibilities and Duties: As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our manufacturing and test engineering teams to ensure smooth operations and the development of cutting-edge medical devices. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing activities and supplies for material storage systems.
Building fixtures, assembly aids, jigs, material carts, and prototypes.
Assisting Manufacturing and Test Engineering in the setup and qualification of fixtures, assembly aids, and workstations.
Supporting Manufacturing and Test Engineering in proof-of-concept activities.
Operating equipment within the Machine Shop.
Creating and reworking cable harnesses.
Conducting light rework and soldering of electrical circuits and components.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Experience with CAM software and operation of manual fabrication equipment.
Proficiency in office software including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Edge, and Outlook.
Demonstrated ability to be a team player and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks within a dynamic environment.
Openness to seeking guidance when facing conflicting priorities.
Preferred qualifications that would set you apart include: Technical degree or certification.
Experience using CAM software for automated machining.
Knowledge of FDA Quality System and Design Control requirements.
Background in medical device manufacturing.
IPC J-STD-001 soldering certification.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor.
Strong analytical and reading skills, enabling you to define problems, gather data, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret a wide range of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, handling both abstract and concrete variables.
