Responsibilities
• Program machining centers and develop set-up sheets and instructions for production• Interpret simple and complex engineering drawings• Monitor build schedule and ensure programs are complete• Identify manufacturing challenges and ensure secure and backed-up files• Advise and mentor machinists in program use• Build positive working team environment• Support shop requirements for tooling development and testing• May operate machines during training period• Maintain electronic file organization and security
Requirements
• Proficient machining skills and understanding of machining and programming functions• Good interpersonal communication skills• Strong computer and math skills• Ability to work safely and wear PPE• Extensive knowledge of machine programming and machining functions• Bachelor's degree and 1 year of related experience, or 5+ years of machining experience• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods• Ability to perform repetitive operations• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
