Manufacturing Engineering Project Lead

We are hiring for a Manufacturing Engineering Project Lead. In this role, the individual will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating manufacturing projects in the industrial plant. 
Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods. Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods. Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards. Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions. Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes. Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential. Performs electrical/mechanical testing and analyzes test data to determine if designs, components, and processes meet functional and performance specifications. Promotes ISO 9001 compliance by creating/updating procedures, ensuring adherence to procedures, publishing trend charts and metrics, assisting in audits, and maintaining records. Utilizes drawing software to design and oversee manufacturing of equipment. Organizes, oversees, and completes larger projects involving multiple departments or facilities. Estimates, documents, and tracks the progress of projects. Bachelor of Science from a four-year college or university; and one or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, including successfully managing large projects .
