The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will manage a team of manufacturing engineers, production planners and technicians that support the production of Engineered Equipment's product lines. The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will direct and coordinate the activities of the engineering department to improve the manufacturing operations through design, operating rate improvement, scrap reduction, ergonomic improvements, and tooling improvements. Coordinate the local installation, set-up, and overall readiness of new projects.

Directs department activities to design equipment needed to improve production. Resolves problems using methodical data driven solutions that involve new techniques, technologies, or concepts. Analyzes production trends, human resource needs, and customer demand to plan department activities. Confers with management, production, and sales staff to determine engineering feasibility, cost effectiveness, and production capability for new and existing products. Design support for centrifugal pumps and membrane element housings. Advises management of new developments which may affect profit, schedule, costs, customer relations, and/or interdepartmental relations. Provides direction and application of company policies and procedures to the engineering activities. Maintains a working knowledge of new technologies which may improve operations and develops recommendations accordingly. Maintains a working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner. Qualifications
