Engineering is responsible for performing research and analyses to develop design options for components, products, systems and processes.
Manufacturing Engineering is responsible for developing manufacturing processes, production floor layouts and associated tools. Reviews new designs for manufacturability. Designs process improvements to reduce product cost, process cycle time and improved product quality. Responsibilities Develops plans for project execution including determining project scope, setting preliminary budgets, and managing project schedules' goals. Identifies opportunities for capital improvement, monitors purchasing demands to ensure efficient manufacturing plant operations. Runs tests to ensure that equipment operation is safe, maintainable, and produces the expected quality of product. Actively communicates with Engineering Managers on projects updates, milestones and upgrades. Works closely with designated training personnel to provide training on new and/or modified equipment. Ensures compliance with all Contractor Rules and Regulations in the execution of projects. Communicates with plant management on project issues within their respective departments and collaborates with them to develop feasible solutions. Qualifications 0-2 years of experience, preferred Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred Six Sigma experience/certification preferred. Experience with Project Management skills and techniques preferred Experience problem solving and decision analysis skills preferred Anticipated salary range: $53,600 - $80,430
