Manufacturing Engineer Adecco is assisting a global leader in marine recreation, recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer in Lowell, Michigan.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be Acting as the primary point of contact for manufacturing as it relates to new product development projects and existing production needs. The ideal candidate will be the primary point of contact for manufacturing related to new product development projects and existing production needs. This role will involve analyzing operations, initiating process improvements, developing assembly equipment, and supporting New Product Development with Design for Manufacturing principles.
Responsibilities
· Serve as the main contact for manufacturing in new product development and current production needs.
· Analyze operations and implement process improvements using time studies and line balancing.
· Develop assembly equipment and production cells, including process maps and work instructions.
· Train operators on new processes and procedures.
· Ensure product designs in New Product Development incorporate Design for Manufacturing principles.
· Perform cost analysis for new products and existing equipment.
· Maintain manufacturing product information systems.
· Create routings to manage material flow in the manufacturing process.
· Develop and maintain plant floor and manufacturing area layout drawings.
· Provide guidance to maintenance team members, interns, and technicians as needed.

Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Work Environment
· Periodic travel required to support strategic goals.
· Must be able to flex schedule between shifts, as needed, to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications
· Education - BSME from an accredited college required. Equivalent experience may be considered.
· Experience - 1 – 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience in assembly operations required
· Experience with design and implementation of PLC controlled assembly and inspection equipment/fixtures.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $39.00 per hour
