Job Summary
Support and participate in technical activity. Design, develop, analyze, document, and support testing of products, systems, orsubsystems.
Job Responsibilities
Apply basic engineering principles to perform routine design, fabrication, modification and/or evaluation in support of manufacturing operations
May prepare plans, conduct support studies, provide analysis or tests in the development of manufacturing operations
Responsibilities are limited in scope
Follow standard practices/procedures in analyzing situations or data
Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
Involved in the development of manufacturing process plans, test requirements, and manufacturing flow, and capacity plans. Review detail designs for manufacturability and producibility.
Involved with the design, fabrication, and modification of mechanical and / or electromechanical components, subsystems, and systems. May include Mechanical Analysis, Aerodynamics / Fluids, Thermal, Fluid Systems, Mechanical Packaging,or others.
Evaluate and recommend design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products orservices.
Investigate solutions to product or process problems.
Job Responsibilities Part II
Attend appropriate engineering, customer or business meetings.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering field and 0+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education/training and experience
Specialties may include manufacturing, production, industrial, welding, tooling, testing, processing, software, and robotics
Novice technical expertise and application domain knowledg
