Responsibilities
• Provide operations support for new product introductions and process improvements• Create and manage manufacturing BOMs, routers, and work instructions• Support deployment of visual management tools• Observe, analyze, and optimize product flow through the manufacturing process• Evaluate and justify purchase of new capital equipment• Qualify, document, and implement new process equipment• Identify key capacity constraints and address them with new machines or tooling• Participate on the Material Review Board• Assess and disposition non-conformances• Conduct failure analysis, root cause analysis, and provide corrective action
Requirements
• B.S. Manufacturing Engineering or other relevant engineering degree• 5+ years of experience in the aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing industry• 5+ years of experience within an electrical engineering organization• Experience with APQP and IPCA+• Demonstrated track record of effectively influencing without authority• Working proficiency with DFMEA and PFMEA methodology• Lean/Six Sigma implementation in manufacturing practices• Tooling design experience• Proficiency with MS Office tools• Knowledge and experience in a professional business environment
