Mandarin Chinese Teacher

We invite you to join our team in making this mission a reality for our students as a faculty member teaching Upper School Mandarin Chinese starting in the 2024-25 school year.
Applicants should be able to teach novice through advanced students (levels 1-6) using a Comprehensible Input-based approach. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience teaching Chinese and have the knowledge of both traditional & simplified characters. A Master's degree is preferred. Review the  Seattle Academy Faculty Salary Structure for a starting salary range.

Agility, influence, negotiation, and strong judgment & decision making skills. Ability to work effectively with all constituent groups - teachers, parents, students, and administrative teams. Experience with addressing student behavior; and Creative and imaginative problem-solver.
