Overview: McWane Inc. seeks a President responsible for providing support to all aspects of the business including, Finance, Human Resources, Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Purchasing, Shipping/Logistics, and EH&S for McWane's Manchester Tank facility in Franklin, Tennessee .

Responsibilities: Facilitate improvements in managerial and operational performance through supervision, guidance, and work with team members, and the executive team to develop and execute business strategies that improve quality, safety, delivery, and costs. Recommend changes to management; improve the goals and objectives, policies, strategies, and operations related to the company's steel and aluminum pressure vessel production. Observe and work alongside employees at all levels of operations, and report to the Executive Vice President, MTE . Support business development efforts in expanding the business and perform costing and pricing financial analysis. Responsible for interfacing with all in the business as a trusted advisor, and anticipating and communicating business risks. Participate in project reviews and audits while maintaining accurate and timely reporting. Develop quality work product and documentation, and cultivate positive relationships with vendors and customers. Supervise work efforts to expectations defined by the Executive Vice President, MTE, and identify, document, and forecast future stated environments. Responsible for improving quality, understanding business implications of decisions via knowledge of the market and competition, and maintain safety and environmental policies and practices.
Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Business, Business Administration or a closely related field and eight (8) years of work experience in a managerial or consulting role in the manufacturing, energy or related industry. This position also requires demonstrated knowledge and experience with the following: plant manufacturing; implementing business turnaround principles; managment and operational consulting and analysis; managing a multi-level team of employees; developing and executing business strategies; performing costing and pricing financial analysis; project reviews and audits; creating hedging programs; and creating employee training programs.
