This position involves developing and driving operations pertaining to Procurement, Production Planning/Scheduling, Inventory, Distribution and Logistics to ensure Operations runs consistently within compliance of FDA regulations and our defined SOPs. Supply Chain Operations Manager (Production Management / Purchasing / Inventory Control / Distribution Shipping) Key Accountabilities: Ensure supply chain is compliant with FDA regulations and defined Werfen SOPs.  Work directly with members of the Operations Leadership Team to manage timely product flow throughout all stages of production from raw materials to finished goods. Drive supply chain excellence and efficiency by eliminating waste and non value added work across Immucor's supply chain network from purchasing through distribution. Lead analysis to identify drivers for scrap/destruction and reduce them significantly. Ensure link in demand forecasting worldwide. Create meaningful metrics and transparency into all areas of manufacturing to analyze and drive Just In Time (JIT) inventory practices, meet cycle demand, and satisfy customer expectations. Manage production planning functions from raw material to finished goods. Ensure that cycle counts are executed timely across the entire supply chain to ensure accurate inventory valuation and availability of components for supply chain continuity. Lead efforts to ensure our manufacturing processes and infrastructure are robust enough to handle our growth, customer expectations, and alignment with corporate strategy and tie "full circle" with our procurement and order fulfillment needs. Actively manage daily and tactical supply chain operations to ensure that any delays in supply resulting from deviations and other manufacturing bottlenecks are addressed timely to meet ship cycle commitments 100% of the time. Supply Chain Operations Manager (Production Management / Purchasing / Inventory Control / Distribution Shipping) Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position: Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience cGMP experience, exposure and working knowledge of Pharma Quality and Regulatory protocol (e.g. deviations, non-conformance, etc) Inventory management experience, working knowledge of destruction, material and labor variances, absorption and manufacturing KPIs. Working knowledge of regulated components, change management and pharma product specification Profession Supply Chain certifications (APICS, ISM, IBF), or actively pursuing one -  preferred Ability to manage and develop a team of 4 – 12 people Solid computer skills with proficiency in MS Office products Supply Chain Operations Manager (Production Management / Purchasing / Inventory Control / Distribution Shipping) Werfen appreciates and values diversity.
