As the Hotel Sales and Revenue Operations Manager, you will be an integral member of the team that leads the pre-opening efforts and stewards the dynamic relationships across all key stakeholders including, Ownership, CoralTree Hospitality and Asset Management to ensure strategic alignment towards the hotel opening and beyond. We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Hotel Sales and Revenue Operations Manager to join Hotel Polaris at the U.S. Air Force Academy's opening team!
Reporting into the Director of Sales & Marketing and Director of Revenue Management you will take the lead in project managing of Hotel Sales and Revenue Operations and the opening of this incredible hotel. This role functions as the strategic business leader of the property's sales and revenue operations and oversees the development and implementation of departmental strategies, policies and procedures and ensures implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives. The position ensures the hotel sales operation meets the brand's target customer needs, ensures employee satisfaction, and focuses on growing revenues and maximizing the financial performance of the department. 
Responsibilities The Hotel Sales & Revenue Operations Manager oversees all aspects of the sales operating systems. This includes the management of the delphi sales and database system, the front office point of sales system and alignment between sales contracts and the system. This role requires vision and financial planning skills as well as excellent communication skills and people leadership. Financial acumen and the ability to design and develop database reporting to support the sales effort is critical. This position will assist the Director of Revenue Management on reporting, group optimization analysis, and the measurement of revenue generating programing. The Hotel Sales & Revenue Operations Manager will assist in rate loading of business transient rates in the business transient sales system.
Key Competencies: Supervision and overall responsibility of the Sales and revenue operations function including maintaining and monitoring the accuracy and effectiveness of all reporting and contracting policies and procedures. These procedures include but are not limited to: Sales Reporting, Contract Auditing, Business Transient Rate Loading, Event Proposals, Merge Documents such as Contracts, Banquet Event Orders, Catering Resumes, Daily Events Reporting, and Delphi Input Standards.
Implementation of Delphi Standards with the sales team Develop reports to support the sales and marketing function such as month end reporting, activity reporting, and sales prospecting reporting for solicitation. Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the Delphi system. Participate in the preparation and analysis of the Sales, Catering and Revenue Management weekly financial forecast. Audit all sales contracts to make sure that the Delphi System, HMS, and the details in the contract contain the same information. Assist in the review, approval, and management of contracts to ensure compliance with company standards, legal requirements, and operational best practices across all properties. Work with the sales team to make sure that all Delphi Standards are met when bookings are created. Assist in monitoring database quality and enforcing company standards to ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting and analysis. Develop and Maintain Standard Operating Procedures for the Delphi System and contracting process. Assist in transient rate loading into the transient booking systems. Ad-hoc analysis of all revenue-generating segments as needed, in support of the Commercial Services team. Support the development and generation of custom reports using advanced analytics tools to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making processes. Working in close collaboration with the ADRM and DOSM, develop and implement strategies to optimize the hotel's sales system and revenue operations Analyze market trends and competitor data to identify opportunities for revenue growth Monitor and track sales performance, revenue, and occupancy rates Work with the ADRM to ensure optimal utilization of hotel event spaces and guest rooms, including the development of group and event booking guidelines. Utilize Total Revenue Management principles to help manager group and catering event pricing and inventory strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the hotel's group/event management systems and related distribution channels. Prepare regular reports and presentations on group sales and revenue performance Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operation and guest satisfaction Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create targeted sales strategies and promotions Manage and optimize our sales management systems to streamline processes and enhance user experience. Implement standardized procedures and protocols for system usage, ensuring consistency and efficiency, including corporate level policies. Coordinate and conduct training sessions for staff on system functionality, workflow solutions, and operational procedures, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to ensure optimal system utilization and user satisfaction. Assist in the review, approval, and management of contracts to ensure compliance with company standards, legal requirements, and operational best practices across all properties. Qualifications Has a history of working with sales systems and contracting workflow. Develops standard operating procedures for the use of the sales systems. Requires strong knowledge of sales systems including point of sales systems. Proven experience in hotel sales, revenue management and related fields. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 with eligibility for bonus.
