Responsibilities
• Leads and coaches a team of one or more assigned partners• Manages and supports insurance claims• Investigates, analyzes, tracks, trends, and evaluates alleged risk events• Works to bid and award insurance products• Manages distribution of Certificates of Insurance• Promotes awareness of and provides education on risk mitigation• Ensures Department of Motor Vehicles eligibility checks are conducted• Assumes responsibility for assigned performance measures• Assists in developing and implementing strategic initiatives• Completes rounds in patient care areas and administrative departments
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Risk Management or related field• Ten or more years of experience in Risk Management, Safety and Security• Certification as Professional Healthcare Risk Manager is desired
