Overview The Manager, Marketing Analytics and Data will spearhead the strategy, development and delivery of SGWS's web analytics platform as part of the Marketing Technology Platform. This role aims to enhance our analytics capabilities which will underpin digital products and provide product teams the necessary data and metrics to drive user behavior and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a robust background in digital technologies and a proven track record of managing high-performing teams. You will be responsible for leading the design, development and implementation of new platform solutions that align with our platform strategy and overall company objectives, while fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Specialized Skills and Technologies Hands-on experience with web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics preferred) and modern implementation patterns (data collection rules, WebSDK, event forwarding, etc) Experience managing analytics development teams that support B2B/B2C applications, ideally in Commerce use cases Experience with data governance, data privacy and general data management Working knowledge of at least one other Adobe Marketing Cloud product (Target, Adobe Experience Platform, Audience Manager) Experience integrating clickstream data with tools like Adobe Target or data warehouses to power personalization and real time decisioning Experience with developing design systems and documentation libraries for consistency and adoption of technologies Responsibilities Scope and Impact Build and maintain a prioritized roadmap for the web analytics platform Lead implementation of Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform and other marketing analytics platforms, providing both oversight, architecture and hands on contributions to the software design and development Establish design patterns for implementing clickstream, profile and real-time CDP services in digital products Manage talent acquisition, training, and retention, ensuring high expertise and commitment across teams. Facilitate collaboration with leaders across various disciplines to form teams that deliver reliable and high-quality software, supporting both strategic planning and execution.  Demonstrate leadership that empowers teams to achieve exceptional quality and performance in project delivery. Strategic Contribution Develop platform strategies that align with overall technology and digital objectives to maximize the impact on supplier relationships and portfolio expansion Drive technology innovation that supports the company's strategic goals and positions the company as a leader in the industry. Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and modern design patterns into the analytics platforms that can improve operational efficiencies and support digital products Builds strong partnerships with other departments to align digital initiatives with broader business strategies, ensuring cohesive progress towards the company's long-term goals. Leadership Direct and develop a web analytics engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.  Set clear objectives, evaluate performance, and provide coaching and support to enhance team capabilities and drive professional growth. Proactively manage analytics health metrics to maintain optimal team performance and quickly resolve issues. Maintain responsibility for platform prioritization, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Regularly engages in one-on-one career development discussions with direct reports, actively identifying and facilitating access to development opportunities within SGWS to support professional growth Demonstrates expertise in continuous performance management by providing timely, effective, and actionable feedback, aimed at enhancing team performance and individual career progression. Implements and refines Agile methodologies to enhance project delivery processes, enabling quicker adaptability to change and more efficient project outcomes. Minimum Qualifications At least 5 years of experience in key business priority enablement through technology delivery and support  Experience leading analytics development teams focused on modern web analytics technologies and architecture patterns Proficiency in Adobe Analytics with understanding of modern data collection architecture Demonstrated ability to manage complex delivery initiatives Proven track record in building & sustaining high performing team capable of driving technical modernization efforts in parallel to delivering on business commitments.  Strong track record of managing external vendors and service providers.  Experience driving adoption of technology through education, training, and other organizational change management strategies.
