JOB SUMMARY : The Manager, IT Operations is a technical expert within a wide breadth of IT disciplines and leverages this technical knowledge through hands-on involvement in leading IT projects, steering the technical team, and delivering outstanding technical support to our employees. You will be instrumental in ensuring our organization has the robust technical infrastructure and resources to fulfill its roles efficiently. You are the technical subject matter expert to whom the IT Team looks for technical guidance and day-to-day management. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Not an Exhaustive List). Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. 
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert across all applicable IT disciplines and as the final escalation point for all internal IT troubleshooting. If the team doesn't know the answer, then ideally, you do – and if you don't know the answer, you take responsibility for finding it. 
Hands-on management and guidance of technical professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment by mentoring team members. 
Lead, plan, and execute IT projects, aligning with StageBio's strategic objectives. 
Ensure seamless IT operations, focusing on both hardware and software components. 
Oversee the Hyper V and VM Management across both cloud and on-premises platforms. 
Maintain and optimize WAN/LAN/Cloud/WiFi Infrastructure, ensuring robustness and reliability. 
Spearhead cybersecurity initiatives to safeguard company data and infrastructure. 
Manage Cisco Meraki, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft365, and Barracuda systems. 
Administer backup infrastructure, Azure File Sync, and NAS services for the enterprise. 
Provide comprehensive support for Apple devices and Windows systems, leveraging tools like Mosyle and Intune. 
Oversee IT purchasing, budget management, and vendor relationships, including partnerships with CDW Inscape. 
Play a pivotal role in customer and FDA audits, representing the IT operations team. 
Implement and manage IT service management processes, adhering to ITIL and GAMP standards. 
Manage ticketing systems, ensuring effective resolution of IT issues. 
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION : 
Proven experience in VM Management, LAN/WAN Infrastructure Management, Cyber Security, Active Directory, Azure Cloud, Microsoft365, and similar IT domains. 
Professional IT Experience of more than three years is required. At least three years in Senior IT technical roles with three or more additional years in a hands-on IT Management and Leadership role is preferred. 
Significant professional certifications in IT Systems & Software such as Microsoft, Salesforce, Cisco, ITIL, or similar. 
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.  SKILLS & ABILITIES:   Experience in the life sciences sector is highly preferred.  
Strong expertise in managing IT operations in a regulated environment, particularly with exposure to customer and FDA audits. 
Proficiency in IT service management and experience with ITIL and GAMP. 
Project and process management skills, including the proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. 
A player-coach mentality, with the ability to lead from the front while fostering team growth. 
Patience, a strong personality, and the ability to see the big picture and stand your ground in decision-making. 
Strong work ethic (takes ownership) and quick-study mentality; a track record of leadership experience and demonstrated ability to lead top-priority projects; Results-driven. 
WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
Ability to lift 25 lbs. at a time. 
Ability to squat, bend, crawl under desks, lift, twist, reach, carry items, push and pull carts loaded with equipment. 
Days and hours of work will vary in accordance with demands, with evening, weekend work, and travel as needed.

  This flexible onsite role will be based in either Frederick, MD or Mount Jackson, VA. ????
