With a global presence of 60 manufacturing plants and 30 distribution centers, they remains at the forefront of sustainable solutions in stormwater management ROLE The company is looking for a Manager, Finance Shared Services to lead the Vendor Master, AP, Travel, Expense and Corporate Card teams. They are all in charge of acurate and timely execution of spend across the entire company. The responsibilities include:
Team Leadership: Spearhead and oversee teams responsible for Accounts Payable, Vendor Master Data, and Travel & Expense functions, nurturing a culture of teamwork, operational efficiency, and continual enhancement. Offer guidance, mentorship, and avenues for professional development to team members. Accounts Payable Expertise: Direct the comprehensive accounts payable process, guaranteeing precision, adherence to compliance, and prompt disbursement. Collaborate across teams to refine processes and boost overall efficiency. Vendor Data Oversight: Manage the vendor master data process, ensuring precision and currency in vendor information. Institute and uphold robust controls to ensure the integrity of vendor data. Travel and Expense Management: Supervise the Travel & Expense team, ensuring timely and precise processing of expense reports. Implement cutting-edge practices for travel and expense policies, utilizing technology for optimal reimbursement procedures. Strategic Vendor Partnerships: Foster positive relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving any vendor-related concerns. Collaborate with vendors to optimize payment terms and cultivate mutually beneficial partnerships. Process Enhancement: Identify opportunities for process enhancement within accounts payable, vendor master data, and travel & expense functions. Implement best practices and leverage technology to elevate workflow efficiency. Reporting and Adherence: Generate routine reports on activities related to accounts payable, vendor master data, and travel & expense, offering insights for informed decision-making. Ensure strict compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and accounting standards. Collaboration Across Functions: Engage in collaborative efforts with other departments, such as procurement, finance, and IT, ensuring seamless integration and alignment of processes. Act as a key representative of the finance department in cross-functional projects and initiatives. Audit Coordination: Aid in coordinating internal and external audits associated with accounts payable. Supply necessary documentation and support throughout audit processes. REQUIREMENTS
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Accumulate 5+ years of progressive experience in Finance, accounts payable, and/or shared services. Demonstrate over 5 years of leadership or managerial experience, showcasing the capability to lead and cultivate high-performing teams. Possess experience in managing third-party providers, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations. Take the lead on initiatives as an empowered self-starter, displaying effective collaboration across teams. Exhibit strategic thinking skills, making connections across workstreams and matrixed organizations. Showcase strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills. Display exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with significant proficiency in facilitating with Excel and PowerPoint. Navigate ambiguity comfortably and logically structure issues/opportunities, determining recommended solutions. Be detail-oriented, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and make decisions on multiple time-sensitive projects.
