We are looking for a Data Analytics Manager to work with our Podcasts, Creator Payouts, and Ads Revenue data team. Your mission will be to support the data operations for enterprise and individual podcast creator calculations, perform analytics over advertising revenue, and manage a team to provide insights to both internal and external stakeholders within Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and the broader Finance organization.What You'll Do Manage a team of data scientists and work with large data sets, solving complex problems in a dynamic environment Work with our Engineers to support the development of systems, datasets, and processes to support the ingestion, analysis, and reporting of advertising delivery and revenue dataSupport ad-hoc requests from various internal teams (Accounting, Legal, Licensing, Financial Planning, etc) as well as external podcast publishers that require analysis of advertising data and systemsWork with a cross-functional team of data scientists, engineers, and finance representatives to define and test requirements for enhancing revenue recognition systems and data productsWork with a group of highly motivated individuals who are passionate about Spotify's successWho You Are A minimum 6 years of experience using databases and analytics tools to solve business problemsExperience managing and developing a team of data analysts / scientistsDegree in information systems, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or another quantitative disciplineExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and deliver results in a fast moving company with a wide variety of strategic initiativesPrevious experience working with advertising delivery data and relevant systems such as ad servers is ideal Technical proficiency in SQL, Python / Pandas, Big Query / Google Cloud Platform, Tableau, Qliksense (or other visualization tools), Basic Command Line OperationsWhere You'll Be Hybrid role based in our New York offices (average 2 to 3 days a week required)Working hours? We operate within the Eastern time zone for collaborationThe United States base range for this position is $140,096-$200,137 plus equity.
