You'll learn more about this during the recruitment process.JOB SUMMARY:The Digital and Experience Development team is focused on driving product strategies to evolve and enhance the Guest experience across Universal Parks & Resorts. As a Product Manager, the primary function of this role will be to manage new capabilities across the entire product lifecycle, from product strategy, planning, definition, delivery, and implementation. Universal Orlando is now currently seeking multiple Product Owners to join our team in the following disciplines:Content/Commerce: Multiple PositionsFocused on our Guest web, mobile app, and commerce experiences, driving engagement and improving the overall Guest experienceFront-end, Guest-facing product experience, knowledge of design systems, application integration, and experience working closely with development teamsResort/Guest Experience: Multiple PositionsFocused on our in-park Guest experiences, helping to reduce friction and allow our guests to focus on the funHardware/Software integration, vendor development, financial systems, payment systems, and in-park technology (ticketing, attractions operations, etc.) experienceData Enablement, Marketing Technology and Personalization: Multiple PositionsFocused on streamlining and optimizing how data is used to help improve our Guest experience, driving improved decisioning and personalized communicationsData emblement, ingestion, and activation experience Experience with marketing technology tools, processes, and integrations. IncludesAdobe, Salesforce, CDPs, CRMs, Email composition tools, and mobile and social marketing products.Project scope is anticipated for 2 years. May have potential to convert longer and/or long term.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Product DefinitionPartner with the internal teams to establish experience interactions and designs based on high level feature requirementsDrive detailed product Feature definition, including functional and non-functional requirementsSupport product implementation across the domestic sites, capturing site specific functional requirements in partnership with on-site stakeholdersProduct DeliveryFacilitate product backlog grooming with the Delivery scrum teamDefine and document product user stories to enable technical design, development, and testingParticipate in scrum team Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily-stand ups, and retrospectivesProduct Implementation and SupportPerform product validation throughout the development cycle, to ensure alignment with functional requirements.Maintain close partnership with Business Transformation to ensure that product functionality aligns with Operational and Business capabilities.Represent and support the product as the ongoing subject matter expert.Develop an ongoing approach for measuring the success of newly implemented experience enhancements, to enable well-informed future product planningProduct PlanningEstablish the product roadmap and coordinate with key partners to manage product delivery and implementation timelinesPartner with other Digital Product Managers to ensure product dependencies and integration points are considered during roadmap and release planningEstablish product backlog priorities for release and sprint planning, considering new capabilities, minor enhancements, and defect fixesProduct StrategyProactively evaluate Guests / Users experience strengths and pain points from all perspectives, to identify opportunities for new and/or improved experience delivery capabilitiesDevelop and frame up product recommendations with associated cost, value and experience analysis, to gain approval and funding for developmentCollaborate and liaise with key business partners to establish product goals and objectivesEnsure product alignment with the holistic experience transformation visionUnderstands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree required in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Technology, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.EXPERIENCE:5+ years in Product Management, with relevant Digital Technology product niche (Commerce, Web/App, Content, B2C, Resort/Guest Experience, Payment Systems, Theme Park Technologies, Data Enablement, Data Engineering, MarTech, etc.)Experience with large scale transformation initiativesDemonstrated ability to define and execute strategic initiativesWorking in an agile technology delivery programDefining a customer journey and/or digital product roadmapProduct backlog management, including Feature definition, requirements, prioritization and sprint planningClose partnership with a Technology Delivery teamStakeholder engagement and relationship buildingExecutive communication, with the ability to influence decision makingExcellent analytical, written and oral communication skills, and be able to explain complex concepts both concisely and simplyor equivalent combination of education and experience.Your talent, skills and experience will be rewarded with a competitive compensation package.Universal Orlando Resort.Here you can.Universal Orlando is an equal opportunity employer.
