Position Summary: The Manager, Total Store Planning is accountable for ensuring the successful implementation and execution of store-level strategies in demand forecasts and regional plans. Collaborates and partners with Location Planning, Region Planning, New Store Planning, and Forecasting team to ensure successful integration of key store strategies and plan updates. Builds strong working relationships with Location Planning and Region Planning teams to influence, align around key opportunities, and drive successful execution against them. Develops and coaches team to drive results through collaboration and influencing key business critical partners.
Duties and Responsibilities: Develop, Execute, and Optimize Store Level Strategies Collaborates with Location and Region Planning partners, to identify, quantify, and detail store level opportunities/risks. Develop actionable strategies around specific store clusters to maximize sales. Review store level forecasts on an exception basis. Manages ad-hoc store changes and future adjustments that should be reflected in demand forecasts. Partners with Forecasting team to ensure successful execution against identified store opportunities. In partnership with Location Planning teams, review flow strategies and align on any flow changes and share with Forecasting team to include in the demand forecast. Maintain store master list for store classification. Partner with New Store team to align and execute merch comp vs. new non comp store assignments. Drive Results Through Partnership Across Organization Partners with Region Planning team to understand and incorporate store - specific strategies in regional pre-season and in-season guidance. Communicate to Location Planning teams significant store-level developments (i.e. notable store closures due to weather). Monitor cannibalization and partner with New Store teams to understand impact and necessary forecast adjustments between stores (merch comp vs. new non comp). Manage store closing processes, permanent or relocation, and partner with Allocation team to update allocations accordingly. Partner with Store Operations team on store-level sales planning and forecasting to ensure appropriate staffing levels. Collaborate with store Field team on solving complex store problems. Lead and Develop Team Successfully drives business results through positive, inclusive, and influential leadership. Sets high standards and holds self and team accountable for actions and decisions. Cultivates a collaborative, creative, and results-oriented environment that supports associate learning and development. Empowers team to work collaboratively to persuade and influence others. Leads by example to engage and inspire. Demonstrates agility and flexibility while navigating through changing business conditions/needs. Serving as a role model for the team. Education: Bachelors degree
Experience: Minimum 8 years related work experience in Planning, with experience in Regional or Location Planning preferred
